Thanks for attending the 5th Annual Kick-Off Beer Tasting!

Thanks to all of you who attended our 5th Annual Kick-Off Beer tasting on Saturday. I hope everybody had a good time and were able to find some new beers that were to your liking. I really think it was the best lineup we’ve ever had at 1 of these events. We’ve also got the amount of tables and vendors down to a comfortable level where there is still plenty of stuff to sample, yet still enough room to maneuver around and talk to the reps or stare at the supermodels. I hope there was plenty of pizza and snacks available for everybody…and we’re still chuckling as we watch the “pizza cam” video!!...I think 1 guy had a whole pie himself…at least he bought lots of beer...right Mel? Well now that the beer tasting is over, it’s now time to set our sights on the 5th Annual Grand Fall Wine Tasting. We’ve kicked a bunch of dates around and have come up with Thursday, October 29th from 5 to 7:30 PM. Keep an eye on the website (corksfinewine.com) and we will post all the news and updates on the next big Cork’s event.

One of the original founders of Wachusett Brewery will be here tonight (Thursday) from 4:30 to 7:30 to taste you on his yummy local brews. I’m not sure exactly what Mr. Peter Quinn is going to pour, but if it’s anything like his last visit here, he will open any and all that he carries, including the ever popular Blueberry Ale, Green Monsta Ale (watch out Yankees we’re coming for the division!), and the award winning Octoberfest. We have their whole lineup including the new “Box of Brews” which is their 12 bottle mix pack, and we’ll take 10 % off tonight only on these delicious local beers so stop by and check them out.

We will take 1 more Friday night off from the wine tastings as I had a late cancellation for this week. It will give me more time to recover from… yawn…yet another wine tasting with like 800 wines and tons of food at a luxury Boston hotel…tough gig…I know. But the good news is we have the return of the Tommy Bolini show next Friday night to look forward to! So enjoy the great fall weather...week 2 of the Pats (how was that for a comeback victory?)…the Sox playoff drive...and your favorite fall beverage.

Robert
