Join us for Corktoberfest Saturday October 1st from 2 to 5 pm!

Welcome to our Corktoberfest newsletter. We are just 2 days away from our 1st ever Corktoberfest Beer Tasting! It is this Saturday, October 1st from 2 to 5 PM. Marc is just about done with the lineup and it looks pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Here is a glimpse of some of the beers we will be pouring. Mayflower…Blue Hills…Clown Shoes…Wachusett…Sierra Nevada…Kona…Goose Island…Magic Hat…Ithaca…Redhook…Widmer…Troegs…Left hand…Crispen Ciders…Sam Adams…Stone…Southern Tier…Cisco…Boulevard…Narragansett…Blue Moon…Woodchuck…Ipswich…Palm…Rodenbach…St. Martin…Anchor…Harpoon…and even New England’s own Cabin Fever Maple Whiskey.

We will have our famous Tasting Pizza and plenty of munchies for you to snack on between beers. I’m sure there will be some pint glasses…key chains…coasters…hats and t-shirts to give away as well. The theme is Oktoberfest, Fall, and Pumpkin beers…but there will be plenty of other new and different styles for you to try. This is 1 of the biggest beer tastings of the year and let’s face it, after that Patriots debacle in Buffalo (which I sat through and feared for my life) and the epic collapse of the Redsox…couldn’t we all use a drink or 2?...or 80… which looks like the number of offerings we will have at Saturdays Corktoberfest tasting!

We won’t have a beer tasting tonight (Thursday) or a wine tasting on Friday night as we get the store ready for Saturdays big event. I have some special wine tastings lined up from now till the end of year. Including a tasting of some new wines from “Corked the Comic”. These are delicious California wines, and we will have the winemaker and the cartoonist here for the tasting. And as you sample the wines he will draw a caricature of you! I’m also in the process of lining up former Sox great Bill Lee to sample his Spaceman wine here. Don’t forget to look for us at the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest on Tuesday October 4th. And save the date for our 7th Annual Grand Holiday Wine Tasting which is Saturday, November 12th.

Have a great week everybody… and we’ll see you at Corktoberfest!

Robert
